About Deep Blue Shipping

A Deep Dive Into The Blue
Deep Blue was founded by shipping industry veterans with over 50 years of combined experience across commercial tanker and chemical shipping, vessel operations, and maritime technology. We exist to modernize the parts of the shipping process that have been slowest to change, and to do it with the expertise of people who have lived those processes firsthand.
We are a human-led company. That means technology supports our work, it doesn't replace it. Our in-house software team at Deep Blue Labs builds the tools our laytime, commercial, and marine divisions rely on daily, all purpose-built for the operational realities of shipping, not adapted from generic platforms. The result is a team that combines the judgment of experienced shipping professionals with the efficiency of software built specifically for the job.
We have operated through some of the most challenging freight markets in recent memory and some of the most buoyant. What that experience teaches you is that quality matters regardless of market conditions and that companies who get the details right consistently outperform those who don't. That's the standard we hold ourselves to, and the standard we bring to our clients.
